Interiors with a point of view
About
ADESIGN BUREAU is an independent interior design bureau developing residential interiors from concept and space planning through furniture, materials, sourcing and bespoke elements.
Our approach combines interior design with a strong understanding of furniture, materials and production.
We like rooms with something to say
We like colour when colour makes sense. Antiques beside contemporary pieces. Materials that are allowed to be noticed. Rooms with humour, memory and personality.
The most interesting rooms are not designed for everyone. They are designed around someone.
Every project begins with an idea. Everything else has to support it.
What we do
From the first idea to the details that make the room distinctive.
-
Interior concept & space planning
Concept, layout, visual direction, colour, materials and atmosphere.
-
Design development
Developing the approved concept into a resolved interior — proportions, furniture placement, finishes and key details.
-
Furniture, lighting & material specification
Selection of furniture, lighting, finishes, textiles and key objects.
-
Sourcing & curation
Furniture, lighting, art, vintage pieces and objects selected to give the interior its identity.
-
Bespoke elements
Custom furniture and one-off design elements developed when the space calls for something that does not already exist.
Have a slightly unreasonable idea?
We design those.
Tell us about the space, where it is and what you have in mind.
